Booking
-
As early as you can. Popular summer Saturdays go a year or more ahead. Send me your date and I'll tell you straight away whether I'm free.
-
A £60.00 retainer fee secures your date. Until that's paid, the date stays open and is deducted from the final bill.
-
The £60.00 retainer fee is non-refundable. Beyond that, there's nothing further to pay if you cancel.
-
Yes. I've styled a wedding party of nine with five days' notice. Tell me how many people need hair, makeup or both, and the time you need to be ready, and I'll work out a start time that gets everyone done without a rush.
-
Yes. I work with all hair types and textures, including Afro, curly and Asian hair, and I carry foundation and products to match most skin tone.
-
Yes. Proms, birthdays, anniversaries, photoshoots and makeup lessons are all welcome.
The trial
-
I'd recommend one. It's where we work out the look properly: you get to try things, change your mind, and arrive at something you're genuinely happy with before the day. But it isn't essential, and plenty of brides book without one.
-
They happen in your home location on the day.
-
Two to three hours at most.
-
A few months before the wedding, ideally once you have your dress and a rough idea of your flowers and accessories. That way we're designing the whole picture, not just the hair.
-
Pictures of looks you like, a photo of your dress, and your veil or hair accessories if you have them. Come with clean, dry hair and a top that's easy to take off.
-
That's fine. Send me photos of looks you love and a recent selfie, and we'll plan it that way instead.
On the day
-
Yes. Please have your hair washed and completely dry, either the night before or first thing. Wear a button-up top so nothing has to go over your head afterwards.
-
I work back from the time you need to be ready. As a rough guide, allow about an hour per person for hair and the same for makeup. I'll confirm a start time once I know the size of the party.
-
Yes. I use long-wear products and set everything, so your look lasts through photos, dancing and happy tears.
-
By arrangement, yes. Ask when you enquire and I'll include it in your quote.
Products and skin
-
MAC, Nars, Fenty, YSL, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Estée Lauder and Bobbi Brown, Clinque, Charlotte Tillbury chosen for colour range and a good photo finish.
-
Absolutely. If you have products that you know work for you, bring them and I'll use them.
-
Yes I use individual cluster lashes, whichever suits your look. Or you can bring your own if you prefer.
